My Role
During my time at River Island, I held the position of Associate UX Designer. I began as an intern but was promoted to an Associate role within a few months.
One of my key roles was in the Continuous Improvements team where I worked alongside stakeholders, business analysts, and developers in sprint sessions to create efficient and impactful designs for our website, mobile, and app.
Additionally, I provided support to the Fulfil and Serve team as a UX Designer. Within this team, we focused on optimising the post purchase customer journeys. Some of my responsibilities were to focus on the delivery and returns experience, as well as addressing customer pain points by working closely with the customer service team.
In addition, I worked closely with the Creative and Content team to produce high-quality wireframes for our editorial pages.
Whilst working here, I actively developed my skills in both UX and UI, allowing me to excel in all areas.
